iDoms Vocab 5.2

This vocabulary training application was developed to address personal needs in enhancing one’s vocabulary. The core focus lies in creating a seamless balance between repetition and automatic progression, achieved through an intuitive point system. The application effectively monitors word retention; if a word is well-known, its frequency of review decreases, allowing the user to focus on new vocabulary as they progress.

The app currently supports vocabulary training in the following languages:

• Greek (first 300 words with audio)
• Biblical Hebrew (first 300 words with audio)
• Latin (extracted from the Summa Theologiae)

Additional features include:

• Creation of custom word lists via the website http://vocab.idoms.org/
• Adjustable parameters for personalized learning experiences
• A brief summary provided after each exercise
• Customizable lists based on the words included in the app
• Optional practice in both directions (e.g., English to target language and vice versa)

The extensive adjustability of the application makes it a versatile tool for flashcard-based learning. Users can initially access the first 50 words for free, after which additional vocabulary sets are available for purchase through In-App purchases. The generated revenue is allocated towards development costs, such as obtaining a Developer License.

It is important to note that users must utilize the restore purchase function to access the application across multiple devices. This function is provided at no additional cost, ensuring that users are never charged more than once for the same list. This restoration option can be conveniently found at the bottom of the vocabulary sets list.

Lastly, users now have the ability to create their own vocabulary lists through an In-App upgrade, providing further customization opportunities in their learning journey.
